Default Need help filling out my sins last skill slot

My guys got

16 dagger
10 critical
10 shadow

Unsuspecting strike
Fox fangs
death blossom

Alright this is for doing straight up damage and hurting clumped up enemies

Palm strike (elite)
Horns of the ox
Falling spider

Interupt and poison

Then I have shadow refuge for self heal. I cant decide what would be a decent skill to fill out that last spot. Energy isnt a problem so I dont know what would be a good choice

I would suggest maybe Viper's Defense. It is a good skill to have for quick emergencies.

Firstly, pop minor or major runes on Crit Strikes and Shadow Arts

Secondly, lose Unsuspecting and Fox Fangs. Replace those two with Mark of Instability and Black Lotus Strike.

Thirdly, screw Horns of the Ox because its KD is too conditional, and replace it with a Rez Sig.

That should be it.

I think Horns of the Ox is a great skill, you can always find a decent target for it.

He has minor runes on crit strikes and shadow arts, otherwise 16/10/10 wouldn't be possible.

If you really want to keep Unsuspecting Strike, then replace Fox Fanges with Wild Strike for the faster recharge. It makes switching to the next enemy a lot easier. Also, I suggest using the rest of your skill slots after your combo for defensive skills.

If he does this he'll need a lead strike too since I dn't believe MoI counts as a lead strike.

Try MoI+BLS. You'll see what I'm talking about.

Generally it's a craptacular KD I think. The target can't be adjacent to any enemies, right? How often does that happen, realistically? In PvE, no less? It's a highly conditional KD, no way around it. It's more efficient to run with a MoI instead.

Yeah, and he's got his main heavy-hitting attacks linked to CS. But his CS level is absolute shit, pretty much. 10 CS for both Palm Strike and Unsuspecting? What's the point? Whenever I run my Palm Strike build, I've always got 15 in Dagger Mastery and 13 in CS. Sometimes I switch it around for 15 in CS and a 13 in Dagger Mastery.

If anyone is running Palm Strike, I'd better be seeing more in CS than a 9+1. Otherwise I don't consider the build to even have an Elite slot.

And hell, now that I think about it, ditch Death Blossom and replace it with Twisting Fangs, because this build isn't inflicting a Deep Wound...and Deep Wound is critically important for any damage-dealing character. Better yet...

...you know what? I can consolidate his entire build so that it serves both functions at the same time:

Quote:
15 Dagger Mastery
13-14 CS
or
13-14 Dagger Mastery
15 CS

Mark of Instability
Black Lotus Strike
Palm Strike
Twisting Fangs
Falling Spider
____self heal_____
Rez Sig
____extra slot____
I used to carry Death Blossom in a similar build, but the target was dead before I could actually use Death Blossom.

The skill chain went as follows:

MoI-->Palm Strike-->BLS-->Twisting-->Falling Spider-->Death Blossom (if the target was still breathing)

I don't think a self heal is needed, either. If the Monks are doing their job, you're fine. If not, then just bring Return if you need to get back. Or Dark Escape. Shadow Refuge is pretty much shit at this point; I haven't been using it at all since the post-FPE changes.
